How to glue your mount – step by step
With the Mr. Kraken Glue Kit, installation is a breeze. The set includes everything you need: workshop glue, thinner, electrical tape, and a brush. You'll also need a heat gun and a soluble pen.
1. Mark & Prepare
📍 Mark the desired location with a soluble pen.
📍 Cover the area with insulating tape – slightly larger than the bracket.
📍 Clean and dry the bonding area thoroughly.
2. Apply glue
🖌 Open the PVC glue and dilute it if necessary.
🖌 Apply a first coat to both surfaces – from the inside out for clean edges.
🖌 Let the glue dry for 15-20 minutes , then apply a second coat.
3. Activate & Glue
🔥 Heat both adhesive areas with a hot air gun (30 seconds) – do not hold it in one place for too long!
🔥 Press the mount directly onto the surface – it sticks instantly!
🔥 Roll over with a roller or bottle to avoid air bubbles.
4. Let it dry
⏳ Allow to cure for 1-2 days before rolling up the boat or putting any weight on it.
